Orchid and Garden Show

Momose
Please welcome Momose. She's another girl in a traditional summer kimono called yukata. Momose, like her look alike Momoka, comes with a cute little satchel and a squid.

Street Fighter Girls
The girls welcome another new set of Pinky girls. They are the Street Fighter Pinkys, Chun-Li and Sakura. Although they are trained fighters, the girls are as cute as their other Pinky friends.

Happy Anniversary!

Haruhi the Hostage
The Japanese online store I bought her from has notified me since last month that she's been shipped so I thought she would be here by last week. I waited and waited but no Pinky Haruhi Suzimiya arrived. I checked the tracking site and it showed that the package arrived after three days.
This afternoon, I found out the reason for her delay. Our Bureau of Customs is holding her. She is being subjected to duties!!!
I can't believe that a single piece of plastic doll would be held hostage and subjected to taxes almost three times her price. What kind of policy is this?
Government must be so cash strapped that it wants people to pay for something that is not even worth a thousand pesos!!!
I feel sorry for dear Haruhi languishing in the warehouse of EMS. BUT I really can't bring myself to pay for the duties being imposed on her. I wanted her badly but I'd rather give her up than cough up for something as unreasonable as what this government wanted me to pay for her release.
Forgive me my dear Haruhi. But I'll just wait for your release here. Even if it takes some two to three months.

New PC
My dear Maki went to the office with me yesterday. She was just too excited to find out that I have a new PC at my workplace. She gamely had her picture taken beside it to show off to her friends.

Shakugan No Shana
Another anime character has been transformed into a cute little Pinky!
She's Shana from the anime, Shakugan No Shana (Shana of the Burning Eyes). In the anime, she is a flame haze who loves melon bread. Her love interest in the story is a young boy named Yuji. I don't really know the anime but since she's a Pinky, I really wanted to have her. She's also a special release and thanks to flickr groupmate who is based in Japan, I was able to get her.
Pinky Shana comes with her own sword (which, unfortunately she has already brokem) with an interchangeable steel and flame blade. She has flaming red hair and eyes.
She's the only pinky who wears a black trench coat. That really made me fall for her.

Moriko
Moriko is one of the girls that came from Arizona. Unlike the others who were exact copies of the other girls, Moriko is a repaint of Moe. She has purple eyes and black hair. She has a green uniform too.
She also has a cute cheerleader uniform in purple!

Tamaki
My goodness! I can't help but wonder what kept me busy the last three months! I forgot to tell you about the first two new girls for 2008. Both came in time for Christmas but I didn't get the time to take them out of their packaging until January.
PinkySt fans, I'd like you to meet Tamaki. She's a repaint of Tamae. She comes with 2 cute get ups. She even has a cute pair of green sneakers. Tamaki already met her sisters Tamae and Tamako.

The other girl is Koneko. she's a repaint of Kokoro. Like Kokoro, she has a cute backpack. Her other outfit is a cheerleader costume in orange! Her face is one of my favorite faces among the pinkies.

Monster Hunter Sacchin
Sacchin, Maki and Rui finally met Mon-Chan. Maki and Rui wanted to show off their weapons to Mon-Chan who also showed her Monster Hunter costume.
Sacchin surprised everyone when she put on Mon-Chan's head gear! The girls had a great time!

Monster Hunter Pinkies
The Monster Hunter Pinky girls have arrived. They must be the most detailed Pinkies ever! Their costumes are simply awesome. Actually, only two of the three releases joined the Pinky!Pinky! group and here they are.
This is Bone. As you can see, most of her attire are made of bones from the monsters she must have hunted. She has braided hair. Her weapon is a crossbow and she has a great looking shield.
She also has an alternative get-up which is equally stunning. This time she has a giant bone club as a weapon. Her head gear is also different!
The other girl is Mon-Chan. Her costume is that of a giant cat! Her giant headgear is the envy of the other girls. Her weapon is a canine tooth.
She also loves to cook. Here she is preparing dinner. Her costume is also different and her hair is cute.

Meet the Newcomers
When Sacchin and Maki came back from their recent U.S. trip, they brought with them four new girls! The girls were so excited to meet their new family and friends.
Sacchin introduced the new girls to their sisters when they had a get together recently. The new girls are Sumiko, Moriko, Rai and Mieko.

California Trip
Sacchin and Maki have just returned from their California trip and they have so many stories to tell. The girls literally roamed around the State in the middle of winter. It was good that the weather cooperated during their first week of stay there.
Maki had fun touring Old Sacramento. Her first stop was the Old Sacramento visitor's center where she found a lot of historical artifacts about the state capital's past!
From here, Maki visited the State Capitol Gardens where she found native plants and trees of California. There were also several monuments there honoring Californians who fought in the Vietnam and World Wars.
Maki also went skiing and snowboarding at the Boreal Ski Resort! Hmmm... it looks like she's shivering in this photo though!
Of course Sacchin also went around California. Maki and her went to see the Muir Woods National Monument. They walked on trails surrounded by redwoods that are thousands of years old! Maki took this photo of a dazed Sacchin in the woods.
From the woodlands, the girls went to the Muir Historic Overlook. This was used by American forces to watch out for enemies coming from the Pacific Ocean during World War II. Of course, these became obsolete after the invention of radars.
The girls were told that on a clear day, one can have a stunning view of the city of San Francisco, including its landmark Golden Gate bridge. Maki and Sacchin enjoyed watching the sunset from there.
Another site the girls enjoyed was the Sundial Bridge at the Turtle Bay Exploration Area. The bridge is hailed as a stunning engineering and architectural wonder. It crosses the historic Sacramento River. The girls were told that the sundial doesn't work during winter because of the sun's position. However, it is highly accurate during the summer solstice in July.
Unfortunately, it started to rain the following week and the girls had no choice but to stay home. Some friends dropped by to cheer them up and play with them. It was still raining by the time the girls left for the Philippines.

Despedida Party
Maki and Sacchin is in Sacramento, California for twelve days. The night before their trip, Mashi threw a party for them and some really cute girls dropped by to wish them a happy and safe trip.
Mashi prepared egg tarts and cold drinks. Rei enjoyed the food that she couldn't stand up anymore for this picture.
Anyway, Maki and Sacchin arrived safely in Sacramento and still have jetlag so they couldn't post pictures. Hopefully they could get used to the time difference and the cold of course so they could start posting more photos.
