Surprise Pinky

A new girl arrived with the Pinky clothes recently. It's a Hana in Town Pinky! She's now named Hanayo (world of flowers)to distinguish her from her sisters, Hana and Hanae.

Hanayo came in a cute gray and white uniform. Her skirt is navy blue. Her hair is fixed in pigtails. She also wears eyeglasses. Hanayo loves books and those were the first things she looked for when she got here.



After getting rested, Hanayo changed into her other outfit, a yellow shirt with a cute design and a green skirt. Little kitty tried to play with her but she chose to look at the books available in the place.



Like her sisters, Hanayo is also a shy girl. Hopefully, she would adjust fine in the cute world of Pinky:St.

Dress Up Pinky

Since the weekend saw lots of rains the cute Pinkys didn't have any choice but to stay in the house. Lucky for them, some new clothes came in the mail and they spent the time putting them on.

Ako, Kokoro and Maki picked clothes that suited their tastes. Maki picked a strapped black top and pink miniskirt. Ako picked a cute pink collared shirt with tartan designs and a pink skirt. Kokoro picked a more active/hiphop shirt and paired it with a blue biker skirt.

Even Akito joined in and picked a black collared shirt.

Don't they look great in their new set of clothes?

Range Murata Girls

They're probably the coolest Pinkys ever. Their clothes are awesome and they are all pretty. Anyone will surely fall in love with them at first sight. I am talking about the Range Murata Pinkys!

The first girl is Nazuna. She's a pretty girl with a futuristic outfit. She also has an alternative outfit she uses when serving dimsum. Nazuna looks the sweetest among the three girls.



The second Range Murata girl is Mayura. Her outfit is the same as the alternative one of Nazuna except that hers is black. She also carries two trays of dimsum. Mayura has a very friendly face accentuated by a wink and her tongue sticking out. What a naughty girl!



Caine is the third girl in the group. She wears a black hat that covers her gray hair. She also uses an eyepatch, which makes her look so seductive. Caine is the most sophisticated and classy of the three girls.



These three girls will surely be a cool addition to the Pinky girls.

Evangelion Girls

The latest addition to the Pinky:St girls are the re-release of the Evangelion Girls version 1. This release features Asuka and Rei in their plugsuits. Asuka wears a red-plugsuit while Rei wears a white one!

The face of the version 1 Asuka is that of Kokoro's. To differentiate her from the version 2 Asuka, she's now called Asako. It's a beautiful name and it means "morning child" in Japanese.



The face of the version 1 Rei is that of Moes. She has glowing red eyes and wears a pair of white cat ears. She's been renamed Rie which is Japanese for "gifted with logic"



Both sets of Evangelion girls already met and they instantly got along well. I'm sure the other girls will also welcome them warmly.

The Girls in Yukata (浴衣)

There are two new girls in PinkySt and they're wearing beautiful summer kimonos called yukata (浴衣). They also came with different accessories.



The girl in the pink yukata is Momoka. She comes with a squid in one hand and a satchel on another. Her name means a thousand flowers in Japanese and her beautiful yukata shows that.



Rena is sitting on a bench, and having some slices of watermelon. Her blue yukata has bunny prints on it. She also has a yellow bunny mask and a pail of her favorite hanabi (fireworks). Rena is reborn in Japanese.



These two girls make a beautiful addition to the growing community of PinkySt girls.

Hanae is here!

Hanae (ha na EY)comes to live with her sister Hana in PinkySt. She has a cute black jacket, blue frilly skirt, purple leggings and blue shoes. She also carries a cute brown bag.



Her sister Hana met her and toured her around the place. She also let her play with some of the cute toys they have.



They later met with the other cute girls who welcomed Hanae to the group. They had some sweets and drinks to make Hanae feel at home with her new group.

Monster Hunter and Tokikake Pinkys

Bad news for the pinky crowd! Vance moved the release of the Monster Hunter pinkys from October to later this Month. Release dates for the Tokikake limited pinkys were also moved to December.

Sunday Pinkys

Mashi and Rei went to Intramuros and the Rizal Park this morning. Mashi first went to the Silahis Arts Center to view the an exhibit called Barrio Scenes. She was pleasantly surprised to find out that there were other native items for sale at the center. She made a note that she will tell her friends about the place and maybe go back there one day.

Mashi also found some interesting pieces of sculpture on the wall outside the center. Knowing that halloween is just around the corner, the gutsy girl got on top of one piece that looked so scary and had her picture taken. She told everyone watching her that she wasn't scared at all.



She walked a little more around Intramuros and found an old house called "Casa Manila". It was an old house where visitors could walk back in time and relive the days of living in the walled city. She saw various pieces of everyday things used by the elite during the Spanish period. Unfortunately, the guards did not allow poor Mashi to take pictures of the place. She just snapped a quick picture of the courtyard and its fountain.



Tired of walking, Mashi went to an eatery at the seaside called "Harbor View" The place was a bit full and busy that her orders took time to arrive. She just passed the time watching some ships come by and look at the structure that will soon become the biggest Aquarium in Manila.



Meanwhile, Rei went around the Rizal Park. She went to one of her favorite spots in the park, the Japanese Garden. However, she was thoroughly disappointed to see how poorly the place was maintained. Tired of walking she sat on one of the railings of the bridge. How shocked she was to find out that even the railings were slowly decomposing.



Later, Mashi came to join Rei. After a few minutes of walking around Rizal Park, the two girls decided that it was time to go home. Besides, it was starting to drizzle and Rei didn't want her yukata to get wet.

Momoe

Another new comer to the growing Pinky group is Momoe (mo mo EH) which means peach tree in Japanese. She's known as Go! Go! Moe. She comes with a picture book of the other cute dolls of Pinky:St.

She's looking for her cousin Moe. I hope she sees her soon.

Say Hello to Yoshimi

The girls welcome their new playmate, Yoshimi. She's a repaint of Yoshiko and the third Pinky under the Captain Animate series.

Yoshimi comes with an apron, a brand new accessory the girls would really want to try. Right now she's busy selling donuts to her new friends.

Busy Pinkies

Yoshiko and Moe had a very busy day last Sunday. They toured the National Museum and marveled at the artifacts that were there. Yoshiko enjoyed the Treasures of San Diego exhibit while Moe was moved to tears at seeing for the first time the Juan Luna
masterpiece Spolarium.



After the tour of the museum, the girls had lunch at the Seafood Wharf. They had clams, fish, roasted pork and oh so many other things on the menu.



From there, the girls went to the Quezon Memorial Circle to see the fruit festival. Yoshiko felt bad after smelling the durian so Moe brought her out of the area for some fresh air.



Since they were already tired, the girls went home and spent the rest of day playing with their plushies.

Rini

She comes to town with a Rabbit Scooter. Welcome the newest girl in PinkySt, Rini. Her name is Japanese for little bunny. Like all good pinkys, Rini uses her helmet for safety but remains fashionable with her cute goggles and scarf that waves at people as she drives by. She's still finding her way around though.

I'm sure the girls will gladly help her get used to the cutest place for the cutest girls (and boy) ever.

Sacchin's Surprise

Sacchin found a yukata in her wardrobe and put it on. She took out a nice paper fan and went out of the house. Since the sun was a bit warm, she took some watermelon slices to cool her a bit.

The watermelon was sweet and juicy and Sacchin really enjoyed it. Suddenly she heard a loud noise coming from behind her. She was so surprised that she jumped on the table, afraid that whatever it was, it might hurt her.

She was so relieved to find out that it was just everybody's favorite kitty.

Agito's Scooter

Agito can't contain his excitement over his new bike. Just this afternoon he took his scooter for a spin. He met the sisters Maki and Mashi who were on their way to practice target shooting.

The girls liked the bike but declined to ride on it because they didn't have any helmets with them. For the girls, safety is always a priority.

Newcomers

After weeks of waiting, the Pinky girls and boy finally met their new friends. They were so happy to see the newcomers and let them join in the fun. Agito even brought along his new motorbike for everyone to see.

The first girl is Ako. She says she loves to dress in retro fashion. The other girls think that she's also a 'green warrior'. Ako also loves to go to flea markets.

O-Hara, the second girl, may look tough but she's really a nice girl. Her parents are rich and they made her rich too. She also likes to laugh a lot.

The third girl is MikiMiki. She loves to dress up and is quite fashionable. She thinks she, Maki and Mashi would get along very well especially on being fashionable.

Along with these three girls are the Pinky in Evangelion costumes. Asuka, the blonde girl, is half-German. A little birdie told me that she has quite a temper.

Rei, the blue haired girl, is mysterious and a little withdrawn. Rumor has it that she's not entirely human. Hmmmm.... she's.... a doll!

This group is getting bigger, livelier and fun all the time.

Modern Pinky Magazine

There's a thread in one pinky forum that features mock magazine covers created by its members. I decided to join in the fun and make my own.

I wanted a magazine for the modern Pinky. It should feature articles that will cater to their taste and provide them with information to become a true 21st century girl. I called it "Modern Pinky".

For the maiden issue, I decided to put one of my favorite girls on the cover. I took Maki for an afternoon photoshoot and chose my favorite photo. I also thought of three great articles to feature on the cover. These included articles of pinky vacation spots, pinky horoscope and advise on pinky finance.

Here's the cover. I had a great time creating this cover, hope you like it.

Monster Hunter Pinkies

There's a new set of Pinky:St girls coming out next month. They are Pinkys based on the Playstation game, "Monster Hunter." The girls have elaborate costumes designed by BabySue, and the details are quite impressive.

You may find some of the pictures of this new line here.

Of course the website says that the other girls may also use these girl's accessories. After all, what good is a Pinky:St girl when you cannot interchange her parts!

Good News

The girls (and Agito) received great news today. The new Pinky:St Series 6 and Evangelion Ver. 2.0 girls are on the way!

Perhaps by this time next week, their new friends will be with them already. Everybody is so excited!

New Pinky in Town!

Someone arrived in the mail! The girls were excited to meet the first Boy Pinky, Agito. He is based on a character from the anime "Air Gear".

Agito wears an orange outfit (a straight-jacket, actually) and an alternate black t-shirt. He also has roller blades!

In the Air Gear manga, this 14-year old boy has two sides: good and dark. When his eyepatch is on the right eye, Akito, the good side takes over him. If it is on the left eye, Agito, the dark side takes over him.

The girls were excited to welcome him and make him feel at home immediately. It looks like Hana is scared of his eyepatch though!

Waiting for new friends

Sacchin and the rest of the girls are waiting for their new friends to arrive from Japan. They are the new versions of the Neon Genesis Evangelion Rei and Asuka Pinkys and the Series 6 girls.

The girls constantly look at the website of Vance to check if they are released already. Hopefully, the new Pinkys will arrive this coming week. Everyone, of course, is excited to meet them. In the meantime, they exchange stories and play.

Wonder Festival Summer 2007 Arms Set

Sacchin and her friends are still excited over the arrival of their new toys. The arms set which is a limited release for the Wonder Festival for Summer 2007 consists of several guns, a rubber duck, a walking stick and more.





Maki, Mashi and Miko can't help but admire the high powered arms.
